Combi Boiler Upgrade in Richmond
The owners had always relied on two separate systems: a boiler for the home’s hydronic heating and a storage tank for everyday hot water. Both were getting old and using more energy than the owners wanted. When several people needed showers, they also had to think about how much hot water was left in the tank.
ProD introduced a combi boiler that could provide home heating and hot water from one unit. For the owners, that meant freeing up space and no longer relying on a tank that could run out after back-to-back showers. Choosing one unit instead of replacing two separate ones also made the upgrade more appealing to them.
The owners are delighted with the result. Their home has the warmth and hot water they need, the equipment takes up less space, and they expect the more efficient system to help reduce their energy bills.
Completed Systems and Work
Old floor-standing boiler and storage water heater replaced with a wall-mounted combi boiler serving hydronic heating and domestic hot water; hydronic piping, circulation, expansion tank, and zone controls updated.
