Pro D Home Climate Solutions Inc. ("Pro D," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or submit a request for an assessment or quotation.

Information we collect

When you submit a Book an Assessment request, we collect your name; at least one contact detail (phone number, email address, or WhatsApp number); your preferred contact method; project type; one or more service interests; and any information you choose to include in the optional message or project-context field, which allows up to 2,000 characters. Please do not include sensitive information.

Cookies and Google Ads

Our website may use Google Ads tracking and cookies or similar technologies for advertising measurement and related advertising purposes in the future. If enabled, these technologies may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, and interactions with the Website. Google may process this information under its own privacy terms. Google Ads advertising tracking will only be enabled with your consent.

A cookie preference banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences. If Google Ads advertising tracking is enabled in the future, it will follow the choice you make in the banner. You can reopen your choices using the Cookie Settings link. We store your cookie choices in your browser so they persist. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although some Website features may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to your questions and assessment requests, understand your service needs, assess a home or system, prepare or discuss a quotation, schedule and coordinate requested work, communicate with you, maintain business records, protect the Website, measure advertising performance according to your cookie preferences if advertising tracking is enabled, and meet legal or regulatory requirements. Where PIPA requires consent, we obtain it before or when information is collected. Depending on the circumstances and the information involved, consent may be express or implied. We will ask separately before a use or disclosure that is not apparent from your request when consent is required. Submitting a website form does not subscribe you to promotional emails.

When we share information

We may share personal information with service providers that support the Website, form delivery, email, anti-spam protection, communications, document storage, advertising, or business operations, including Cloudflare Turnstile and Resend. If Google Ads is enabled in the future, its tracking will follow your cookie choices. When reasonably needed to assess, coordinate, obtain applicable permits for, or perform services you request, Pro D may share relevant contact, property, equipment, and project information with 360 Install Solution Inc., our licensed technical partner, and qualified licensed trades engaged for that project. We limit information shared to what is needed for those purposes.

We may also disclose personal information when its disclosure is required or authorized by law. We do not sell personal information.

Safeguarding and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and to meet legal requirements. If we use personal information to make a decision that directly affects an individual, we retain that information for at least one year after the decision, as required by PIPA. We then securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it when appropriate.

Access, correction, and questions

Contact the Privacy Officer at info@prodhome.ca with questions about our privacy practices, to make a privacy complaint, or to make a written request to access or correct personal information, subject to applicable law. This email address is monitored daily. We will review and respond to privacy complaints. You may also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services, including messaging platforms. Those services have their own privacy practices, which apply when you use them. Please review their privacy information before submitting information through those services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
